Privacy policy
This policy covers fullstackdeepdive.com (“Full Stack Deep Dive”, “we”). The courses are free and you do not need an account. We do not sell your personal information.
What is stored in your browser
Some features save small amounts of data in your browser’s local storage, on your device only: your light or dark theme, which chapters you have viewed, quiz and lab progress, your jobs tracker and job-matcher notes, and your cookie choice. We cannot see this data. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
Analytics
- Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits and show us which pages, devices, countries and referring sites people use. We use it to decide which chapters to improve. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics and any other tags we add. It does not set cookies itself.
- Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights (our host) measure visits and page speed without cookies, using aggregated data.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies let Google and its partners serve ads to you based on those visits.
You can turn off personalised ads in Google’s Ad Settings, and opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies at www.aboutads.info or, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu.
The AI tutor
If you use “Ask AI”, your question, the conversation so far and the text of the lesson you are reading are sent to our server and passed to an AI provider (such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini) to write the answer. We do not store tutor conversations on our server. Please do not type personal information into the tutor.
Your choices about cookies
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked before analytics and advertising cookies are used, and ads are non-personalised unless you agree. Anyone can change their choice at any time:
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The courses keep working without them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU and UK GDPR or India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you and to withdraw consent. Because we do not run accounts, most data about your visit is held by Google; you can review it in your Google account.
Children
This site is meant for developers and learners aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
